KARGIL, AUGUST 12, 2022: As a part of various events under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav, Har Ghar Tiranga event was observed at Sani Lake Zanskar on Wednesday.
Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmed Khan, EC Er Phunsok Tashi, Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadve, SSP Kargil Anayat Ali Chowdhary, CMO Kargil, SDM Zanskar, Project Director KREDA besides other concerned district officers, school students and villagers were present during the event.
During the event, the dignitaries, school students and villagers raised the national flag with zeal and walked around Sani Lake to honour the tricolour and acknowledged the achievements the country has achieved in the last 75 years.
On the occasion, the CEC said, “celebrating the event is vital as the nation has gone through a long journey for the achievements whatever we have today.”
DC Santosh Sukhadeve while addressing the school children said youth must be well versed with great history and legacy of the nation and also remember the sacrifices of national heroes.
