Harco Bank Chairman assumed charge

Chandigarh, January 4 – Sh. Hukam Singh Bhati, Chairman, HARCO Bank assumed office in the presence of Haryana Skill Development, Industrial and Transport Minister, Sh. Mool Chand Sharma and Cooperation Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal.

         Transport Minister, Sh. Mool Chand Sharma and Cooperative Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal congratulated the newly appointed Chairman and asked to further strengthen the policies of the Cooperative Bank.

         On this occasion, MLA, Sh. Deepak Mangla, Jhajjar Cooperative Bank Chairman, Smt. Neelam Ahlawat, Rohtak Chairman, Sh. Harish Kaushik, Managing Director, Sh. Rahul Uppal and many senior officers were present.

         The Transport Minister and Cooperative Minister said that in view of the immense possibilities of employment in the dairy sector, by engaging more women and youth in the sector will significantly help the sector to expand more in the state and will also make them self-reliant.

         He said that apart from the public sector, dairy farmers, milk products, processing and manufacturing industry, dairy equipment manufacturing firms, food industry etc. cannot progress without a cooperative sector. He said that the branches of the cooperative bank are working up to the village level. Effective steps should also be taken to strengthen these branches.

         He said that there is immense potential in the cooperative sector to bring prosperity and make the country self-reliant. Cooperative societies have also made a significant contribution to the country’s economy.
