Haryana Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Sh. Anoop Dhanak thanked the Chief Minister

Chandigarh, March 9 – Haryana Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Sh. Anoop Dhanak thanked the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal for making a provision of Rs. 1,671.37 crore for the Employment Department and Rs. 221.97 crore for the Labour Department in the budget for the year 2022-23. He said that this budget is very balanced and far-reaching.

Describing this budget as unprecedented in many ways, Sh. Anoop Dhanak said that every section of the society has been taken care of in it. Also, in the budget, there has been talk of reforms in every sector including education, health, labour and employment. He said that the Haryana Budget for the year 2022-23 is dedicated to women.

He said that Saksham Yuva Placement Cell and Haryana Rojgar Portal have been developed as a platform to connect the youth of Haryana with employment opportunities in private sector and temporary job requirements in Government. As many as14,574 employees and 27 job aggregators have been added to the employment portal. The government plans to organize 200 Rojgar Melas across the state for the convenience of the youth to provide employment opportunities in the private sector.

He said that in order to provide more employment opportunities to the youth of Haryana, the Government has created a skill training and development mechanism. Haryana Foreign Employment Placement Cell will be set up in the newly established Foreign Cooperation Department to implement this mechanism and explore overseas placement opportunities. Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam Limited has been incorporated as a company under the Companies Act, 2013. This Corporation will deploy manpower in government and government owned organizations and will protect the manpower contracted by it from exploitation by the contractors.

He further said that a safe and healthy work environment is essential for the welfare of the labour force. The government aims to set up a Major Accident Hazard Control Center integrated with Dial-112 to provide quick response to those complaints and accidents. The government will set up 6 new industrial sanitation laboratories at Panipat, Sonipat, Ambala, Hisar, Rohtak and Jind for regular medical check-up of workers.

He said that setting up of six new 100 bedded hospitals in Hisar, Rohtak, Sonipat, Ambala, Karnal and Panchkula and 14 new ESI Dispensaries in Karnal, Rohtak, Jharli, Ganaur, Mulana, Gharaunda, Farrukhnagar, Kosli, Saha, Chhachhrauli, Pataudi, Bhuna, Charkhi Dadri and Uklana Mandi will be started. He said that ESIC dispensaries would be strengthened with modern medical facilities to improve health facilities for industrial workers.

He said that second level medical services would be provided to the insured persons and their family members on cashless basis through empanelled private hospitals. To address the issue of child labour and migrant rehabilitation, the government will open Child Labour Rehabilitation Centres in Gurugram and Faridabad and 4 new schools for the children of migrant workers in Gurugram, Manesar, Faridabad and Panipat.
