There are about 7.6 lakh animals in Haryana which can lead to the generation of 3.8 lakh cubic meters of biogas. About 300 MW of electricity can be generated from this 3.8 lakh cubic meters of biogas. He added that about 10 quintals of cow dung is collected from 100 animals from which about 50 cubic meters of gas can be generated.
