Haryana’s Chief Minister Residence becomes  ‘Sant Kabir Kutir’

This unique initiative taken by Chief Minister appreciated by one and all.

We have to ensure that society is free of caste discrimination, Chief Minister

Haryana Ek Haryanvi Ek, our only aim, Manohar Lal

Chandigarh, June 14 – For the first time in the history of the country, the Chief Minister’s residence of any state has been named after a great personality who not only fought against social evils but also always opposed the caste system.

Here we are talking about the official residence of the Chief Minister of Haryana in Chandigarh which has been named after the great Sant Kabir Das ji and now the Chief Minister Residence has become ‘Sant Kabir Kutir’.

Notably, it was on Sunday when Sh. Manohar Lal while addressing a gathering at the state-level Sant Kabir Das Jayanti celebrations held in Rohtak had announced that his official residence in Chandigarh will henceforth be known as ‘Sant Kabir Kutir’.  Following the same, a plaque of ‘Sant Kabir Kutir’ was installed outside the Chief Minister’s residence.

His decision has sent a very optimistic social message across the country, which has been greatly appreciated by every section of society.

Haryana Chief Minister is such a politician who himself has imbibed the ideologies and teachings of Sants and Great Men.

Sh. Manohar Lal, who has dedicated his entire life for the betterment of society, strongly believes that rising above caste, creed, and religion and upliftment of those at the bottom of the pyramid should be ensured.

Under the dynamic leadership of Sh. Manohar Lal, the Haryana government is committed to empowering the poor and underprivileged sections.

The Chief Minister has urged the people of the State to take a pledge to love mankind by rising above caste-based discrimination.

Whether it is a common man or a special person who knows the Chief Minister, everyone believes that he is no less than a saint, his daily routine and personality resembles that of saints and mystics. He is more concerned about 2.5 crore people of Haryana than himself and considering them as his family, he always takes decisions in the public interest.

The Chief Minister says that we should make our life successful by always remembering our Sants and great Men and should rigorously follow the path shown by them as only by following the path shown by great men will we be able to achieve the right goal of life.

The Chief Minister strongly believes that state-level programmes should be organized on a larger scale to commemorate the Birth Anniversaries of all the Saints and Great Men.  The State Government has also started ‘Sant-Mahapurush Vichar Samman and Prasar Yojana’ to ensure the maximum reach of the teachings of great personalities in the society. State-level functions have also been organized by the State Government to commemorate the birth anniversaries of other great men.  Such events are being organized for the first time in the history of Haryana.

The rationale behind renaming the Chief Minister’s residence as ‘Sant Kabir Kutir’ is huge as this action of Chief Minister clearly highlights that he does not believe in the caste system, for him the noble deeds of a person are their real identity.

This decision also gives a clear glimpse that the present State Government is working on the motto of Haryana Ek Haryanvi Ek.

This step of Chief Minister is also historic because it has happened for the first time in the country that the Chief Minister’s residence has been named after a great personality.
