Health and wellbeing of people my prime concern: Ludhiana Central MLA Surinder Dawar

Ludhiana, December 26

Promoting health and well-being of the residents of Ludhiana Central is one of his prime concerns, said Ludhiana Central MLA Surinder Dawar while inaugurating a new dental X-ray machine at the dispensary being run by Shiv Shakti Dharmarth Trust in ward number 52. The advanced machine has been installed at the cost of Rs 2 lakh.

Mr Dawar had donated the amount to the trust for making the purchase of this machine. While inaugurating the machine, he said that the new machine would help provide relief to people suffering from dental problems. “Now residents of the nearby areas don’t have to shell out huge amount of money and make rounds of X-ray centres farther away. They can avail the facility close to their homes,” he said.

He said that he always helps organisations working in the interest of humanity.

“Whenever any NGO in my constituency  reached out to me for a genuine need, I have always helped them. Service of the people in the contintuency is my goal, and if some organisations can help contribute to it, I always help them,” he said.

Prior to that, Mr Dawar also distributed ration amongst needy families at Shiv Shakti Mandir in Kidwai Nagar. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Dawar said that residents of Ludhiana Central are like his own family.
