Deputy Commissioner congratulated Education Officers, Teachers and Students for this milestone
With 99.57 pass percentage, District Rupnagar secured first position in the state in the result of Class XII.

In the annual result of Class XII announced by the Punjab School Education Board, District Rupnagar has secured the first position amongst other districts of the state. Mrs. Sonali Giri, Deputy Commissioner, Rupnagar has congratulated all the education officers and teachers of Rupnagar district for achieving this milestone. She said that teachers provided quality education to the students while maintaining high standards of education even in difficult times like the COVID epidemic.
Disclosing more on this, District Education Officer Raj Kumar Khosla said that 7414 students had appeared for the exam in District Rupnagar. Out of which 7382 children have passed and this percentage becomes 99.57. He said that in this result, Patiala came second which has a pass percentage of 99.08 percent. Sri Muktshar Sahib came third with 99.06 percentage. He congratulated all the teachers, parents and students for this achievement.
