INTER COLLEGE BADMINTON CHAMPIONSHIP
The Maharaja Bhupinder Singh Punjab Sports University organized a two-day Inter-College Badminton Championship which was meritoriously hosted by Professor Gursewak Singh Government College of Physical Education from 29th -30th September. The event was chaired by the Vice Chancellor Lt. Gen (Dr) J.S Cheema and guests of honor included the Registrar Col. Navjit Singh Sandhu, the Officiating Principal of the host College, and the officiating Director of Sports Dr. Anubhav Walia.
The event concluded with the final results being in the Girls team – the winners were the team of Arts and Sports College Jalandhar, Runners up- the team of The Maharaja Bhupinder Singh Punjab Sports University Campus, and the Third place was bagged by the host college Professor GursewakSingh Government College of Physical Education. In Boys Championship the winner team was the team of the host college Professor Gursewak Singh Government College of Physical Education, Runners up team being ShaheedKanshi Ram, Bhagomajra and the third position holders being Khalsa College of Physical Education, Amritsar. The Vice-Chancellor Lt. Gen (Dr) J.S Cheema distributed the medals to the winning teams and the Registrar and the Officiating Principal Col. Navjit Singh Sandhu congratulated all the winners and the participating teams for their unparalleled effort.
