Facilitates on the spot interview, assessment, apprenticeship training offers
KARGIL, APRIL 21, 2022: Like other parts of the country, Industrial Training Institute Kargil today conducted the National Apprenticeship Mela at its campus where Executive Councillor for Technical Education, LAHDC, Kargil, Mohsin Ali presided over as chief guest.
On the occasion, the EC spoke about women’s education, women empowerment, apprenticeship program and industrial trades that are instrumental in generating employment for the unemployed youth.
He instructed the aspirants to take maximum benefit from the mela and fit themselves in a particular trade and gain income while delivering service to mankind.
Candidates having 5th to 12th, Skill Training Certificate holders, ITI diploma holders, and graduates were eligible for the mela where a huge number of candidates participated.
On the occasion, on-the-spot interview, assessment, and apprenticeship training offers were facilitated to the aspirants.
Various departments of the district like District Industries Centre, Handlooms Department, Labour Department and National Hydro Power Corporation (NHPC) and ITI installed their stalls for awareness purpose to the aspirants.
An expert from Skill India Srikar Vallivedu Reddy was present as a resource person who awarded the candidates about National Apprenticeship Mela, various industrial trades, employment opportunities and several government schemes in this regard.
Pertinent to mention that the National Apprenticeship Mela with the theme “Naya Bharat, Naye Avsar, Nayi Samridhi” is a joint effort of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises which is taking place in more than 700 locations, 30 plus sector, for more than 500 trades. More than 4000 companies would be recruiting candidates under the national apprenticeship training program.
