Chief Secretary directs the officers to prepare an action plan in 15 days
Chandigarh, June 28 :- Following the pattern of villages, the process of making the urban areas Lal Dora free has started in Haryana. Chief Secretary, Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal has directed the officers to prepare an action plan in 15 days for mapping of assets inside Lal Dora and drone flying etc. in urban areas as well.
Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal was presiding over the review meeting on the progress of SVAMITVA Yojana today.
Sh. Kaushal directed the officers to prepare master data of property IDs issued by Urban Local Bodies Department, Town and Country Planning Department, and Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran and in private colonies in order to know the actual situation. Also, share the information about Lal Dora with all Municipal Corporations, Municipalities and Committees. If any change is found, then data should be updated accordingly, directed the Chief Secretary.
He further said that the work of drones flying in villages under the SVAMITVA Yojana is almost complete and the work of making and distributing property cards is going on in a phased manner. Now on the same lines, the work of Lal Dora free in urban areas will also be done expeditiously so that people can get their ownership rights.
Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal said that Haryana was the first to start the Lal Dora free Yojana in the country, which was later implemented by the Centre Government as SVAMITVA Yojana across the country. In this ambitious scheme, revolutionary steps are being taken to make villages and cities free from Lal Dora. Therefore, it should not be neglected and the work should be done within the given time frame.
The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary and Finance Commissioner, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Sh. P. K Das, Principal Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Department, Sh. Arun Kumar Gupta, Director, Development and Panchayats Department, Sh. Dhirendra Khadgata, Mission Director, Lt. Gen. Girish Kumar, Director Survey of India, Colonel Kunal and other officers.
