Haryana’s STF nabs most wanted criminal

Chandigarh, June 25– In a major break-through, the Special Task Force of Haryana Police has arrested an absconding most wanted criminal carrying a reward of Rs 25,000 on his head from Jhajjar district.
While sharing the information here today, the spokesperson of Haryana Police said that the arrested accused has been identified as Anoop, a resident of village Chanat in Hansi. This crackdown has been made by the STF Hisar unit.

        A case was registered against Anoop under various sections of the Indian Penal Code in connection with a rape on the Tikri border during the farmers’ protest. Along with this, allegations were also levelled against his other associates. He had been absconding since then. A reward of Rs 25,000 was announced in the Jhajjar district on the arrest of the accused.
