Tackles issues raised by the opposition during the discussion
Maintained the dignity of the house
Chandigarh, March 7- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today gave a befitting reply to every issue raised in the discussion on the address given by Governor, Sh. Bandaru Dattatraya on the first day of the Budget Session of the Vidhan Sabha. During the discussion in the session, when the Haryana Prevention of Unlawful Conversion Bill, 2022 was introduced in the House on March 4, a strange situation arose when the former Speaker and MLA of the Vidhan Sabha, Dr. Raghubir Singh Kadian, got agitated and tore a copy of the bill. Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Sh. Gian Chand Gupta took strong cognizance of this and suspended Dr. Raghubir Kadian for the remaining period of the session with the consent of the House, calling it an insult to the legal document placed in the House. But today, on repeated requests by Leader of Opposition, Sh. Bhupinder Singh Hooda to cancel the suspension of Dr. Raghubir Singh Kadian, the Leader of the House showed generosity to maintain the dignity of the House by cancelling the decision to suspend Dr. Raghubir Singh Kadian and sent an example of keeping democratic values alive.
