Skill India organised Kaushal Dikshant Samaroh 2023, a convocation ceremony to recognise and honour the youth who have completed their training under the various schemes and programmes of Skill India under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. The event’s live streaming was organised at Panjab University by the Centre for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and the University Institute of Applied Management Sciences for the students, researchers and faculty. The audience witnessed the top performers from multiple skill development institutes being felicitated. The Hon’ble Prime Minister, in his address, reiterated that industry, research and skills have to be sensitive to the changing times. India is poised to become the global hub of skilled workforce through various government initiatives.
