Urges all cycling lovers to participate in this rally

The Ludhiana Rural police under Community policing initiative is organizing a Cycle Rally on March 22-23, 2022 in remembrance of Martyrs to mark the Shaheedi Diwas 23 March 2022 under the able guidance of Dr Ketan Patil Baliram, IPS SSP Ludhiana Rural.

While addressing a press conference here today, SSP Dr Ketan Patil Baliram said that the Cycle rally will start from Police Lines Jagraon on 22 March at 7:00 AM and would pass through Moga, Talwandi Bhai and will culminate on 23rd March 2022 at Hussainiwala International Indo Pak Border District Ferozepur to pay homage at the memorial of the revered martyrs.

He said that any person above 18 years of age can participate in rally. He should  bring his own bicycle. There is no entry fee for participants. Adequate security arrangements will be done by Police. The Punjabi youth are invited to join the rally.

He said that the rally will be flagged off by PadmaShri Balbir Singh Seechewal and Zorawar Singh Sandhu, nephew of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and S.P.S Parmar, IPS, IGP Ludhiana Range, Ludhiana. He informed that noted Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda would also attend the rally.

“We are hopeful that you will extend your generous support to our initiative. For the benefit of participants, refreshments, stay, first aid, cycle repair, ambulance etc have already been arranged by the Ludhiana Rural police,” he said.

He urged the residents, educational institutions, social organisations to have maximum participation in this cycle rally and said that all participants would be awarded with certificates. He also said that people can participate in this cycle rally for as much distance as they want to cover.
