The Governor`s message to the people of the State on Independence Day will be broadcast by the All India Radio, Shimla on the eve of Independence Day on 14 August, 2021 at 9:00 PM. This broadcast will be followed by the message of the Chief Minister.
Both these broadcast will be on the state hook-up and FM Shimla, FM Hamirpur, FM Dharamshala and all relay centres of AIR Shimla will broadcast these messages.
Similarly, Doordarshan Kendra, Shimla will telecast the message of the Governor at 9:30AM on 15 August, 2021, which will be followed by the message of Chief Minister.
The messages of Governor and Chief Minister will also be telecast by the private TV News Channels and Cable TV Networks in prime time transmission on 15 August, 2021.
