SRINAGAR, Director Horticulture Kashmir Ajaz Ahmad Bhat today inaugurated Mini Grading Line at Lassipora, Pulwama and Zawoora Shopian.
He also visited Pulwama and Shopian where harvest season of Apple crop is happening, and directed Horticulture field staff to look after the public for proper scientific harvesting methods.
The Director informed that practice of grading yields better returns to the growers due to uniformity of fruits. He talked with fruit growers and discussed various issues.
The farmers put various issues before the Director and urged for their immediate redressal.
He assured them to take action on all the genuine issues on priority. Director Horticulture stressed for establishment of more number of small CA Stores/Grading Line on the pattern of CA Stores/grading line already established at Lassipora, Pulwama.
