More than 90 lakh people are getting pension and electricity bills of 6 lakh farmers have become zero : Chief Minister

Dungarpur, April 24. Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot said that the State Government is committed to all round development of Rajasthan. Health, Food, Education, Clean Drinking Water, and Social Security are reaching up to ill the last person through public welfare schemes. Today, 90 lakh people are getting the pension in the State and the electricity bills of 6 lakh farmers have become zero. He said Rajasthan has become the first State in the country that presented a separate agriculture budget in the interest of farmers. The budget has been doubled from the previous budget, in which a provision of Rs 89,000 crore has been made.
Shri Gehlot was addressing the convention of farmers and Patidar community at Gyanpur in the Sagwara sub division in the Dungarpur district. He said that the State Government has waived loans of around 22 lakh farmers, has provided relief to farmers by implementing Kisan Mitra Yojana and has benefitted cattle rearers by giving subsidy to milk producers. He said that the general public in the Dungarpur district is being benefitted through many public welfare schemes, along with many important developments being done including Baneshwar Dham. Mahatma Gandhi English medium schools have been opened to impart education in English medium to the children.

It is our duty to respect all religions
The Chief Minister remembering Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel said, “It is our duty to respect all religions. Therefore we all together should maintain peace in the State.” He said that development is possible only at that place where there is peace.
Continuous growth in the field of girls’ education
Shri Gehlot said that it is a matter of pride for the people of the State that there is a continuous growth in the field of Girls’ Education. He said that now medical facilities up to Rs 10 lakh is being provided in Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana for the better health of the people of the State.

Benefit people with public welfare schemes
The Chief Minister said that the State Government has implemented the Old Pension Scheme to provide social security to the employees. It is expected from the employees that they benefit the people by carrying the public welfare schemes to them. He said that the Government took care of every section of the society even in the grim situation of the corona. Food items and financial assistance were provided to every needy with the resolution ‘No One Sleeps Hungry’.
Earlier, the Chief Minister offering prayers at the Hanuman temple built by the Patidar community at Sagwara prayed for the prosperity of the State.

Committed to the interests of every section
Water Resources Minister Shri Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya in the convention said that the youth of this area have got employment due to provisions made for the tribal areas. A new sun of development has arisen from this budget. District in-charge Minister Shri Bhanwar Singh Bhati said that the State Government is making relevant efforts for the development of every section of the society. The gift has been given to the employees with the re-introduction of the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) and Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme has been implemented to fulfil the dream of Nirogi Rajasthan (Healthy Rajasthan). Minister of State for Tribal Area Development Shri Arjun Singh Bamaniya said that farmers have been provided relief by giving subsidy on the electricity bills. The Government is always committed to the interests of farmers, poor and jawans.
Dungarpur MLA Shri Ganesh Ghoghra, Agro Committee Member Shri Prem Kumar Patidar, Sagwara Municipality Chairman Shri Narendra Khodniya, Former Minister of State Shri Asrar Ahmad, Former MLA Kanta Devi and other public representatives were present at the programme.
