What Is Anaemia?
Anaemia occurs when the body’s red blood cell count or haemoglobin is less than required. If you witness nausea, vomiting or any other difficulty in your daily routine then you need medical attention. But, if the case is not worse then you can adapt some changes in your diet or lifestyle to curb the disease.

Here are some food sources which will increase your haemoglobin levels naturally.

Beetroot
If you drink beetroot juice daily it will increase oxygen supply throughout them, which in turn helps increase the red blood cell count. It can also be eaten as it is, or you can make a sabzi of it. Beetroot is often eaten in salads.

Pomegranate
Experts say that vitamin C aids to boost the body’s absorption of iron, raising the haemoglobin level. Make a beetroot juice, add a pinch of cinnamon powder and honey, and drink daily.

Dates
Soak two dates in a cup of boiled milk, overnight. The next morning, drink the soaked dates and milk on an empty stomach. The vitamin C content present in them promotes iron absorption.

Banana
Bananas are helpful to stimulate haemoglobin production in the blood as they are loaded with iron. To reap its benefits, eat a ripe banana with some honey two times a day.

Green Leafy Vegetables
As we all know Green leafy vegetables like spinach, fenugreek, lettuce & broccoli are the best sources of iron and contain tremendous health benefits. They have plenty of vitamin B12, folic acid and other energy-boosting nutrients that cure anemia.

Seafood
Some seafood provides iron to the body. Shellfish such as oysters, clams, scallops, crabs, and shrimp are the best food sources of iron. If you are a non-vegetarian, you can include them in your daily diet.

Raisins
They are pooled with iron, copper, and vitamins that are vital for making red blood cells and carrying oxygen throughout the body. Hence, to prevent anemia, regular consumption of raisins is advised by the doctors.
