NGO DONATES 23 OXYGEN CONCENTRATORS WORTH RS 16 LAKHS, 5000

MASKS, 100 OXIMETERS AND OTHER THINGS TO FIGHT COVID

NGO Bravehearts today donated 23 oxygen concentrators worth Rs 16 lakhs, 5000 masks, 100 sanitisers 500ml, 100 each pulse oximeters, cough syrups and digital thermometers, 3000 Vitamin C tablets and 1500 paracetamol tabs to the district administration Barnala giving it a shot in arm to fight battle against covid.
Deputy Commissioner Barnala Mr Tej Partap Singh Phoolka appreciated the efforts of NGO led by Mr Tejpal Singh Talwandi and Mr Rattanjot Badesha along with their NRI family for the generous donation.
Deputy Commissioner said that the health department will distribute oxygen concentrators and kits containing essentials for the covid positive patients as per requirement. He also especially thanked AIG Mr Bhupinder Singh who has proven to be helpful in getting the help for district.
Mr Tejpal said that NGO Bravehearts is a joint voluntary initiative of friends in India and overseas to help people of Punjab in times of crisis. “We consider it our duty to selflessly help the administration in every possible way to make healthcare accessible to rural Punjab, especially the weaker sections of the society.” He added that the NGO has started distribution of essentials in Punjab from Barnala. In the coming weeks it shall be sending more such help to other parts of Punjab as well.
ADC Mr Aaditya Dachalwal, Civil Surgeon Barnala Dr Harinderjit Singh and from NGO Bravehearts Jagpreet Singh, Narinder Singh, Harbhej Athwal , Bikram Garang and Jaspreet Singh were present.
