A delegation from Morni block met Health Minister Anil Vij today, demand letter handed over
Chandigarh, July 27– Haryana Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that the Primary Health Centre (PHC) would be upgraded to Community Health Centre (CHC) in Morni block of district Panchkula.
Sh. Vij gave this information while fulfilling the demand of a delegation of Sarpanches who came from different Panchayats of Morni block here today.
He directed the concerned officers to take immediate action on the letter submitted by the delegation in this regard. He said that there is a PHC for a population of about 25,000 belonging to 26 panchayats of Bhoj Kothi area of Morni block, which will now be converted into CHC.
The delegation that was led by social worker, Sh. Charanjit Bhalla informed that there is a PHC in Morni block and people have to go to district hospital in Panchkula or Sarahan in Himachal Pradesh for their treatment in case of medical emergency. He said that the people of Morni area want that the PHC set up in their area should be upgraded to CHC.
Sh. Bhalla said that the work done by Haryana Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij here today to fulfill this demand immediately, has never happened before during the tenure of other governments.
Sarpanch Ranveer Singh, Sunil Kumar, Upendra Sharma, Baldev Singh, Ajay Singh, Khemraj, Suresh Pal, Manphool, Balvir Singh, Pawan Kumar, Pawan Sharma, Ishaan, Umesh, Mam Chand, Hardev, including Charanjit Bhalla were part of the delegation that came to meet the Health Minister .
