The Governor of Punjab and Administrator of Union Territory Chandigarh, Shri Banwari Lal Purohit], expressed grief over the passing of former Member of Parliament and former Union Minister, Harmohan Dhawan.
Expressing his condolences, Shri Purohitremarked, “The demise of Harmohan Dhawan is a profound loss for the city. His relentless efforts towards the betterment of society, especially the downtrodden, will be remembered for generations to come. His demise leaves a void in the political fraternity that will be challenging to fill.
At this solemn moment, our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved family members and loved ones of the departed soul. May they find solace and strength in the fond memories of Mr Dhawan, said Purohit.
