The world has advanced to a great extent today and we have innumerable things which we can learn. One way to master several subjects is through universities and colleges. They give us all theoretical knowledge we need to pursue our career in a particular subject. However, the world universities also offer some unique courses which you might never have heard of. Here is a list of few of them-
1.Ninja Studies- Mie University’s International Ninja Research Centre offers a course in Ninja Studies. It might sound weird but this course actually exists. It is a masters degree for the ninjas. You would learn all about the history of the ninjas, their techniques including martial arts. However, the degree does not make you a professional ninja. The main focus is understanding the life and aspects of a ninja.
2.Adventure Studies- Plymouth State University offers adventure education. This course is somewhat tough but perfect for the people who enjoy adventure. One can learn mountain climbing and several wildlife survival tricks in this course. This degree enables you to practice anything related to outdoor sports. However, you need physical and mental strength to get through this course.
3.Tree Climbing- Cornell University offers a course in tree climbing. This course would enable you to learn all about the trees. You will learn how stable a tree is, how you can climb it using different tricks. You also learn how to try ropes in different ways to enable you to climb a tree. You would also have to sleep in a hammock tied between two trees. This course requires a lot of patience and skills.
4.Stand Up Comedy- University of Kent teaches stand up comedy. In this course the main focus is on the performance of the individual and how it can be improved. The students also study theory and work of several comedians to enhance their skills.
