Mp Shri Fatehgarh Sahib Meets Gm Nothern Railways Ashutosh Gangal
Raikot, 5 July 2021 Dr Amar Singh MP Shri Fatehgarh Sahib met General Manager Nothern Railways Mr Ashutosh Gangal and demanded that various trains stopped from Sirhind station be restarted. He demanded restarting of Begampura Express, Sachkhand Express, Hemkund Express, Saryu Express and Tata Jat Express from Sirhind station.
He informed the GM that thousands of devotees and passengers had been greatly inconvenienced by the diversion of these trains and that given the Shaheedi Zor Mela and the historical significance of Shri Fatehgarh Sahib these trains must be restarted.
Besides restarting the trains Dr Amar Singh also requested that a railway station may be established at Sanghol given its ancient history and demanded a railway over the bridge for Dhandari Kalan in Sahnewal.
