IOL ADOPTS 300 TB PATIENTS OF DIST BARNALA

The IOL Chemical and Pharmaceuticals Limited today donated Rs 9 lacs to meet with nutritional requirements of tuberculosis (TB) patients in district Barnala.The team from IOL handed over the donation cheque of Rs 9 lacs to Deputy Commissioner Punamdeep Kaur. Lauding the efforts of IOL, the Deputy Commissioner said that company is partnering with government to meet with nutritional requirements of TB patients. She said that the TB patients adopted will be given kits using these funds by the District Red Cross Society. The health department will also help in this project.

IOL officers Basant Singh and Mandeep Sharma said that Rs 9 lacs have been given for a period of six months. On the completion of this term, IOL will continue with the grant as per government norms. They added that the IOL would continue with its donations wherever its needed.
