As mark of honour and to commemorate the sacrifices of police martyrs, a Run for Unity was held by District Police Pulwama.
On the occasion a race started under ‘Run for Unity’ from DPL to Peaks Auto, Gangoo by District Development Commissioner, Dr Raghav Langer in presence of SP Pulwama, Ashish Mishra. The event was held by J&K police Pulwama in collaboration with District Administration Pulwama. On the occasion, the DDC paid tributes to the martyrs and hailed their sacrifices for to support the values of unity and integration. He added that the motive of holding such events is to imbibe the spirit of leadership and sportsmanship among youth besides minimising the gaps between people and government. Later on prizes were also given to the winners. Among others, SP Pulwama Ashish Mishra, CRPF, Police and other district officers and officials took place in the “Run for Unity”.
