Sales at HAFED outlets in the State are increasing: Dr. Banwari Lal
Chandigarh, April 15 – Haryana Co-operation Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal said that because of the increasing demand for HAFED products among the consumers, sales at HAFED outlets in the State are increasing and overall sales of HAFED products recorded the sale of Rs. 10 lakh per day on April 12 and April 13, 2021
On the other hand, from October 2020 to December 2020, average sale of Rs. 3.71 lakh per day was recorded. He said that through various strategic steps, efforts have been made to increase the sales in the Hafed outlets. As a part of these efforts, the variety of the product range has been expanded and new products have also been introduced which include pulses, bajra, and jowar biscuits, poha, wheat bran, jaggery, etc. Apart from this, Hafed outlets in the State have been computerized and e-billing, POS facility has been provided in these outlets so that consumers are able to buy grocery and food products at ease.
Dr. Banwari Lal said that Hafed outlets are now open 10 hours a day from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm from where customers purchase a wide range of quality products. He said that inspired by the increase in the sales volume of existing small outlets, Hafed has decided to open a sale outlet called ‘Hafed Bazaar’ of about 1000 sq ft area and at least one ‘Hafed Bazaar’ will be opened at all the district headquarters in the State. He said that the interior design and ambiance of ‘Hafed Bazaar’ will be modern and attractive.
