Teej the symbol of greenery and bliss, says Dushyant Chautala 

Chandigarh, July 22– Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Dushyant Chautala has congratulated the people of the state on the festival of Teej the symbol of greenery and bliss and said that the month of Shravan holds a special significance in Indian traditions.

          In a message issued here today on the eve of Teej, the Deputy Chief Minister said during the auspicious month of Shravan on the full moon the Shiva devotees perform Ganga Jalabhishek on the Shivling which is followed by Hariyali Teej. Subsequently, Raksha Bandhan is celebrated, which symbolizes the relationship between brother and sister. He said people celebrate this month with enthusiasm and prepare sumptuous delicacies.

          Mr. Dushyant Chautala said that despite COVID-19, all the activities are now back to normal during Unlock-2 but still we have to maintain social distancing during like social and religious events and festivals
