Public Works Minister Shri Rakesh Singh said that this elevated corridor will write a new story of development with new technology in the infrastructure of Indore. It will be completed within the time limit. Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsi Silavat, while giving the welcome address, said that the Chief Minister is welcome in Indore. Indore is a city of cleanliness, art, education and sports as well as taste. After the construction of the elevated corridor, it will now also be known for smooth traffic.

Need to work towards medical tourism in Indore

Urban Administration Minister Shri Vijayvargiya requested Public Works Minister Shri Singh to give instructions to the officials to complete this elevated corridor in a time period of 15 months. Along with cleanliness, Indore also has to be made number one in the field of education, so that students from other states come here to get education. Referring to the excellent medical facilities in Indore, he also expressed the need to work in the direction of medical tourism.

It is noteworthy that in Indore district, an elevated corridor is being constructed from LIG intersection to Navlakha intersection on the old Agra Mumbai road of Indore city, approved under the Central Road Fund Scheme. The length of this elevated corridor is proposed to be 6.70 kilometers, width is 15.50 meters and the height of the bridge from the ground level is proposed to be 10 meters. Its total cost is Rs 350 crore. One arm of this elevated corridor will be at Guitar intersection and one arm at Geeta Bhawan intersection towards Madhumilan intersection. Similarly, one arm is proposed at Shivaji Vatika intersection towards Pipalyahana. A time of 24 months has been fixed for the bridge construction work.
