1. Not Using Glasses: Glasses can be annoying to wear because they are always nagging you. Some people with the condition of myopia avoid wearing glasses if their eyesight is not that weak. This might make you look cool but you are harming your eyes that way. It is important for your eyes to see properly else they would get weaker with time.
2. Not Using Sunscreen On Eyelids: Doctors assist us to not apply anything on our eyes as they are delicate. They are right on their part because they don’t want anything to get inside your eyes and harm them. But it is essential you take care of your eyelids otherwise the sun can damage them and it would lead to cancer of eyelids. The sunscreen should be applied carefully and it should not enter the eyes.
3. Rubbing Your Eyes: Rubbing eyes once in a while is alright but if you do it often you are harming your cornea unknowingly. It can damage the tissues inside the eye too. Thus, it is essential you use eye drops instead of rubbing your eyes.
4. Sleeping With Your Lenses On: A good replacement of glasses are lenses which can be worn on a dsikty basis. However, you need to take precautions while wearing them and you should never sleep with them as they block oxygen to the cornea and increases the risk of infection.
