The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab organisedTiranga March on 12th August 2022 to mark AzadiKaAmritMahotsav, 75thIndian Independence iconic week. In the words of Sh. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India “AzadikaAmritMahotsavmeans elixir of energy of independence; elixir of inspirations of the warriors of freedom struggle;elixir of new ideas and pledges; and elixir of Aatmanirbharta. Therefore, this Mahotsav is a festival ofawakening of the nation; festival of fulfilling the dream of good governance; and the festival ofglobal peace and development.”

Prof. G.S. Bajpai, Vice-Chancellor, RGNUL; Dr. SidharthDahiya, Deputy Registrar; Prof. Naresh Kumar Vats, Dean Academics; Prof. Rakesh Mohan Sharma, Advisor, Forensic Divison; Dr. Arjun, Coordinator NCC; Faculty members, Non-teaching staff and students participated in Tiranga Marchat RGNUL campus. The participants also raised slogans Bharat Mata ki Jai and VandeMataram.

Participating in Government of India initiative, AzadiKaAmritMahotsav iconic week (8-14) August 2022, Public Relations and Department of English, RGNUL is organizing activities related to glorious history of India. RGNUL students shall be contributing narratives on unsung heroes, freedom fighters and partition of India. The best entries would be available on RGNUL social media.
