The enquiry conducted by the committee consisting of SDM Dera Bassi, DSP Zirakpur and SMO Dhakoli, found that New Life line Hospital Zirakpur is not following proper medical protocols and guidelines as issued by the state government. The rates that they are charging for an ICU bed with ventilator are not as per norm as issued by the government of Punjab and are highly excessive.
So, Based on the contents of the enquiry report , an FIR No 291 u/s 269, 270, 188 IPC and section51(b),58 of Disaster Management act 2005, section 3 of Epidemic Diseases acts 1897 has been registered in Police Station Zirakpur, informed Satinder Singh, SSP Mohali.
This FIR has been registered against Dr Manish Goyal of New life line Hospital Zirakpur. Investigation of the case will be done in depth to uncover any new facts that come to fore.
