Addicted to coffee? Excess consumption can lead to these health problems!

Coffee has impressive health benefits for all age groups but if taken in a light to moderate way as high dosages lead to negative outcomes from day to day living and might even cause serious health problems.

Doctors comment that “Most of the time if people have acute symptoms of caffeine toxicity, it starts with nausea and vomiting, so usually, make your mind to leave the caffeine before it becomes too toxic for health.”

Women who are trying to conceive or are pregnant and even breastfeeding mothers are warned to limit their caffeine. For the safeguard of the baby, they should consult a doctor for their healthy diet.

Nowadays, adults studying in college, or at the workplace take the stress even on baseless issues and start taking medications that can be harmful to the odds, likewise, heavy caffeine can be dangerous for health with unpleasant side effects.

 If consumed in excess, caffeine can cause these health problems:

  • Confusion- Coffee consumed in larger amounts leads to confusion throughout the day. Your mind is unable to stick to one thing or unfit for decision-making.
  • Miscarriage- Doctors suggest pregnant women to avoid caffeine, but if you are addict then consume only one-two cup of coffee as there are chances of miscarriages if consumed more than 2 cups in a day.
  • Headache- More you drink coffee, the more the headache will be painful.
  • Diarrhoea- Another disadvantage of having coffee in excess is facing diarrhoea and nausea.
  • Heartburn- As per the ingredients of coffee is beneficial for health but can cause heartburn if we sip more than 3 cups of coffee.
  • Fertility issues- It is said that women having the habit of drinking coffee frequently after a short interval face difficulties in conceiving.
  • Rise of blood pressure- Your blood pressure levels fluctuate with caffeine and if taken in a considerable amount then it will create severe health problems.
  • High caffeine intake has been linked to increased and frequent urination.

Lessening your intake of coffee may improve these symptoms.
