Badals to blame for missing saroops of Guru Granth Sahib: Kultar Singh Sandhwan

 Amritsar 25, August 2020

“Badals are directly responsible for missing saroops of Sri Guru Granth Sahib from the record of SGPC’s publishing house. It is an open secret that Badals controls all the affairs of SAD as well as SGPC and there could be a deep conspiracy behind this episode” said Kultar Singh AAP MLA which speaking to media persons here. Appealing to Jathedar Sri Akal Takht, Kultar Singh said that instead of holding some officials of SGPC guilty in this case, Action should be taken against the Badals and they should be excommunicated from Sikh Path. He said that Jathedar Sri Akal Takht should register FIR in case of 328 saroops missing from the publishing house of SGPC so that investigation from the concerned employees can be started which would further throw light on the people having bigger role in this incidence.

Expressing his concern over missing saroops, Kultar Singh said that it is quite possible that these saroops might have been used in over 200 incidents of sacrileges all over Punjab from time to time and possibility of sacrileges by using these missing saroops can also not be ruled out. Therefore, a through probe is required in the matter to bring out truth. He said that Akali Dal and Congress both do not hesitate to misuse the most revered Guru Granth Sahib for gaining sympathy of the public during elections.

It is quite shocking that a party during whose tenure most of the incidents of sacrilege took place, is protesting against the missing historical saroop from village Kalyan in Patiala. Shiromani Akali Dal has lost its moral right of such protests as in the past they have proved that they are not concerned about Guru Granth Sahib rather they use Guru for securing their seats in elections. If they had feelings and respect for the Guru they should have walked bare foot to village Bargarhi. Instead of expressing solidarity with the people, Badals played a role of Dyer by ordering the police to open fire on the sangat protesting peacefully against the sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib.

Kultar Singh said that people have punished Badals for their misdeeds and shall never forget their oppressive role in the sacrilege incidents.  On the occasion Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, Manjinder Singh Lalpura, Ashok Talwar, Manish Agarwal, Dalbir Singh, Ranjit Singh Cheema.
