Cleanliness Drive is being conducted in all the temples across the state, on the call of Prime Minister

On the call of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, a cleanliness drive is being conducted in the temples and holy places in capital city Raipur. In same sequence, Tourism, Culture and Endowments Minister Shri Brijmohan Agrawal, under the leadership of Honourable Governor Shri Biswabhusan Harichandan, visited Ram Mandir near VIP Road and Jagannath Temple in Avanti Vihar area of Raipur. After performing customary rituals and praying for the well-being and prosperity of the people of the state, they joined in the cleaning work of the temple premises.

On this occasion, Shri Brijmohan Agrawal said that on January 22 i.e. the day of Shri Ram Lala’s ‘Praan Pratishtha’ in Ayodhya, entire nation will light diyas and celebrate Diwali once again.  In the backdrop of this auspicious occasion, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has called upon people of the country, especially the public representatives to take up the task of cleaning all the pilgrimage sites, holy places and temples of the country from 14 to 22 January.
