However, try out these home remedies to get rid of seasonal flu:

  • Hot soups: In the condition when your nose is blocked and you have a sore throat, then drink hot soups which will give relief and open the nose. Chicken soup, sweet corn soup, and fresh tomato soups are the best examples to have in the evening.
  • Ginger and garlic: Little amount of ginger and garlic in your meals will be considered as a medicine for recovery. Ginger tea is also very good for curing blocked noses.

  • Hot water bath: Even if the flu infection is caught in summers or in any season then take showers with warm water as it will not lead to high fever.
