Councillor of Ludhiana Municipal Corporation along with his supporters join AAP

AAP Punjab General Secretary Harchand Singh Barsat and MLA Kulwant Singh Sidhu inducted into party fold

Chandigarh, 10 January :- 

In major set back to the Congress ahead of the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation elections, Congress Councilor Kuldeep Singh Dhanesar (Binta) of Ward No. 38 of Ludhiana along with his dozen of supporters have joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday.

All the leaders were formally inducted into the party fold by AAP Punjab General Secretary Harchand Singh Barsat and  Atam Nagar MLA Kulwant Singh Sidhu at the party headquarters in Chandigarh.

Along with Kuldeep Singh, his workers including Dharminder Singh Saran, Mani Ram Bhagat and Ishu Tigra and many others joined AAP. On this occasion, AAP’s Prince Johar, Incharge of Ward No. 36) and Ravi Tandon, incharge of Ward No. 47 were also present.

Welcoming all the leaders in the party, State General Secretary Harchand Singh Barsat said that the Mann government is continuously taking historic decisions for the welfare of the common people. Due to the work of AAP Government, there is a hope among people that AAP party will streamline the system after eliminating corruption and malpractices.

He exuded confidence that like the state assembly polls, the Aam Aadmi Party will register a thumping victory in the municipal elections across the state.
