CHANDIGARH

Asthma is a disease that narrows the airways and gets swell. It may also produce extra mucus. It leads to breathing problems and triggers coughing, a whistling sound when you breathe out and shortness of breath. Asthma can be a minor problem for some people but on the same side, it can be dangerous for a few. For them, it can interfere with day-to-day movements and may lead to a life-threatening asthma attack.

There is no treatment available for asthma but its indications can be controlled as it changes over time and your doctor should know about it and can adjust your treatment as per requirement.

The symptoms of asthma go from person to person. You may have limited asthma attacks, have symptoms only at particular times such as a particular event or some people have symptoms all the time.
