In recent studies, there has been significant link between hair loss and low self-esteem, a number of other mental health problems, including stress and anxiety.

In a society and culture where a bald male may be socially acceptable but a bald woman is not because her hair is a sign of her femininity, becoming bald or having thinning hair can be more distressing for women. It is important to acknowledge the importance of alopecia for mental health and the public’s health, and to take a multi – disciplinary approach to its treatment.

About 50% of men and women, regardless of age, have alopecia as a result of many conditions such as immune-mediated inflammatory illnesses, congenital disorders, illnesses, neoplasms, and psychological, chemical, and hormonal abnormalities. This demonstrates how the hair on the head may truly affect the inside structure of the head.

In the research, they took a survey in which some men and women stated that their hair health impacts their daily lives and even social life. Many of them started staying at home and avoiding socialising because they were depressed due to their bad hair health. Due of their alopecia, many of them reportedly felt ashamed, embarrassed, upset, humiliated, or irritated.

So experts recommend that to avoid such situations take care of your hair, give proper nutrition to them, and nurture like baby.
