HOW TO PROMOTE THE HEALTH OF YOUR CHILD

Coronavirus has taken a toll on our lives. It has forced us to stay inside homes and practice social distancing. It has been months and we still need to follow these precautions until a reliable vaccine is out. People have been suffering from problems like depression and anxiety because of staying indoors all the time. But have you wondered how is the pandemic affecting the children who need to go out and play for their growth? The children too have been severely impacted. The studies are happening online due to which they are glued to screen all day. They have to stay indoors which means no physical activity. This can weaken the immune system.

 

The only way you can boost the health of your kid at the moment is by making them eat healthy. No kid would wish to eat healthy on it’s own so it is the responsibility of the family as a whole to help them through. Make sure you too eat healthy so that your child can learn from you. Take an evening walk with your kid while taking all precautions. When you take them out do not feed them junk, instead opt for healthy options like popcorns and steamed corn. Try giving a new look to the food which would make it attractive for the kid. Take them on a picnic and offer them a lunch box full of colourful fresh vegetables and fruits.

 

If your kid is fond of sweet food, offer them some fresh fruits for dessert in place of chocolates and ice cream. If you really care about their health, do not overfeed them as it can be harmful more than nutritious for their body. These steps can help your kid remain safe from problems like obesity and promote their health.
