MCM students placed in reputed companies

In pursuance of its objective to get its students placed in reputed companies, the Placement Cell of Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, Chandigarh, organised various placement drives in which a total of 48 students were selected for various posts. The highest pay package was offered by Algomill IT Solutions which recruited 5 students for the post of Business Associates at a pay package of 4.5 lac pa. Algomill- a leading Fintech Company of India conducted the recruitment drive comprising of orientation session, written test, GD and personal interviews. 17 students were selected by Amazon during a placement drive held in online mode for the post of Customer Service Associate. The selection process included Pre-Placement talk followed by Personal Introduction Round/English Test and then Online Test. Aviva Life Insurance Co. held recruitment drive for the post of Agency/Sales and Recruitment (Sourcing manager) wherein 5 students were selected. In another drive, ICICI Prudential hired 9 students for the post of Graduate trainees. 8 students were selected by Beyond Codes as Associate- Inside Sales Development Representatives after two rounds of the placement process- preliminary round and final round. In an online placement drive by IDS Infotech Pvt Ltd for the position of Medical Scribe, 4 students were selected. All the selected students were ecstatic at their selection and thanked the college for kickstarting their career in reputed companies.
Principal Dr. Nisha Bhargava expressed appreciation for the efforts of the college’s Placement Cell to help students realise their dream of self reliance by making available employment opportunities in national and international companies of repute. She informed that in the past also companies of great standing like Infosys, E&Y, Amazon, Deloitte USI Tech, Calvin Klein, Wipro, IndiGo, Tommy Hilfiger, etc. have reposed their faith in the talent and professional acumen nurtured at MCM by recruiting its students.
