KARGIL, MAY 22, 2021: Member Parliament (MP) Ladakh Jamyang Tsering Namgyal took a detailed review of all works of Project Vijayak of Border Roads Organization (BRO) in a meeting held at Vijayak Headquarter at Kargil here today.
Chief Engineer Project Vijayak Brigadier Ashish Gambhir, Councilor Stanzin Lakpa besides the officers and engineers of 54 RCC, 55 RCC, 81 RCC and 126 RCC were present during the meeting.
During the course of the meeting, the concerned officers presented a detailed report of all works of Project Vijayak through a power point presentation.
The meeting had detailed discussion on Nimu-Padum-Darcha (NPD) Road, Shingkunla Tunnel, Khalsi-Batalik Road, Khangral-Sanjak Road, Sankoo-Mulbekh Road and others important points of various activities.
MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal appreciated the dedication of Project Vijayak team lead by Brigadier Ashish Gambhir under the guidance of DGBR Lieutenant General Rajeev Choudhary.
“I am very thankful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh for the approval of the 4.2 KM Shinkunla Tunnel as well as their special concern for the borderly located Ladakh region”, the MP Ladakh said.
