KARGIL, AUGUST 10, 2021 Area Development Officer/ Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Zanskar Sonam Dorjay today convened a meeting of the concerned officers with regard to the arrangements for the celebration of Independence Day in the sub division.
During the course of the meeting, detailed discussions and deliberations were held regarding the various arrangements for smooth conduct of the national function.
It was decided during the meeting that the main function of Independence Day will be held at Sports Stadium Padum and the contingents of Ladakh Police and school children will participate in the march past.
Meanwhile, various committees were also constituted for smooth celebration of the Independence Day.
