A meeting regarding arrangements to be made to celebrate Purig-e-Rgaston (festival) was held on 19.10.2023 in the office chamber of Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Shakar Chiktan.
In the meeting, all the Head of the Department/Sarpanches, Assistant Director (AD) Tourism and representative of the Cultural Academy Department attended the meeting.
SDM Shakar Chiktan instructed the Tourism Department to support for conduct of the festival and directed all the Head of the Departments to ensure their moral support for arrangement of celebration of Purig-e-Rgaston and also their presence on that day to make the festival successful.
SDM Shakar Chiktan directed the Sarpanches to install a stall of different ethics items and food to show traditional cultures of Shakar Chiktan.
The representative of Cultural Academy announced that the cultural program of different villages of Shakar Chiktan Block would be performed on the occasion. The meeting ended with vote of thanks to the chair.
