Congratulations on the Prakash Purab of Baba Jeevan Singh by bowing down at Gurdwara Sahib

– The sacrifice, sacrifice and loving life of the immortal Shaheed Baba Jeevan Singh who received the blessing of a son from the tenth Patishah Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji will always remain a source of inspiration for the entire nation and the martyr will always be a source of inspiration. They will continue to give leadership and guidance to the nation. The said words were expressed by Cabinet Minister S. Harbhajan Singh ETO congratulated the devotees on the occasion of the 362nd birth anniversary of Shaheed Baba Jeevan Singh. On this auspicious occasion, the Cabinet Minister paid obeisance along with his family at Gurdwara Amar Shaheed Baba Jeevan Singh in Jandiala Guru and received the blessings of the Guru’s house. He prayed for the good of all. Congratulating the Sangat in his address. Harbhajan Singh said that the whole nation is proud of Baba Jeevan Singh, who brought the ninth Guru Sahib Sri Guru Teg Bahadur ji from Delhi to Sri Anandpur Sahib by fixing Bikra Penda and may his life always bring us love and association with the Guru. will continue to give us the message of On this occasion, the Cabinet Minister also dispatched the jatha headed by Baba Major Singh Sodhi to Sri Anandpur Sahib to celebrate Baba Ji’s birth anniversary from Jandiala Guru.

Thousands of youths are connected to sports fields for the sake of ‘Games of the Fatherland of Punjab ‘ – ETO
The fourth day of the block level tournament under ‘ Games Watan Punjab Ki 2023 ‘
Amritsar 5th September 2023–
Block level tournaments were conducted in different blocks today under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Amritsar, Mr. Amit Talwar, under the 2023 Games of Homeland Punjab being organized by the Sports Department , Punjab. The closing ceremony of block level tournament at S:C:S: School Bandala in Block Jandiala Guru was specially attended by Mr. Harbhajan Singh ETO Cabinet Minister. Motivating those sportsmen to participate in more games, he said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government is making continuous efforts to create a clean Punjab and these games are a part of these efforts. He said that thousands of youths in Punjab are connected with the sports grounds because of these games , which is a good sign for the healthy society.
Mr. Sukhchain Singh District Sports Officer , Amritsar said that a total of 8 sports Football , Kabaddi National Style , Kabaddi Circle Style , Khokh-Koh , Athletics , Volleyball Smashing , Volleyball Suiting , Tug of War are being conducted in the block level tournament.
Sofipur won first place and Bandala won second place in U-14 boys football competition in Block Jandiala Guru. In the U-17 boys’ competition, Bandala School won first, Jandiala Guru second and Sofipur third. In the U-21 boys competition, Bandala won the first place and Sofipur won the second place. Bandala secured the first position in the competition for boys in the age group of 21 to 31.
Block Level Tournament in Block Ajnala was conducted at Kirtan Darbar Society Ground and Government College Ajnala. Nirbhai Singh won the first place in the 56 to 65 age group competition in sports athletics. Nirbhai Singh won first place in 100m race. In the 3000 meters age group 41 to 55 years boys race, Gurmeet Singh won the first place. While in the 100 meter age group 56-65 girls race, Balwinder Kaur got the first place. In the 400 meter age group 41 to 55 years girls’ race, Pinder Kaur got the first place. Swaraj Sports Club Ajnala bagged the first position in the age group of 41 to 55 years of game football.
Olympian Shamsher Singh S:C:S: School in Block Attari Block level tournament was conducted at Attari. Kulwinder Singh bagged the first position in short putt age group 41 to 55 of Game Athletics. Jaswinder Singh won first place in 200 meters race. In javelin and discus throw, Rajwinder Singh won first position. Haryodhbir Singh won first place, Pawandeep Singh won second place and Sadhu Singh won third place in 100m race . Haryodhbir Singh won first place and Pawandeep Singh won second place in 400m race. Hardev Singh won first place in 100m and 3000m race.
Block Level Tournaments in Harsha Chhina were held at Maten Khel Stadium Harsha Chhina and Davindra International School. Around 110 players participated in Block Harsha Chhina. In the 21 to 30 age group of game football, Isapur Club won the first place and Kuljit Football Academy won the second place. Harsha Chhina Club won the first place in the U-21 to 30 boys competition of the game Khong Khong and Harsha Chhina Club also won the first place in girls. Gagandeep Singh won the first position in the 10000m boys race in the 21 to 30 age group of Game Athletics. In the 1500m race, Gurpreet Singh won the first place and Amritpal Singh won the second place.
Block level tournament in Block Verka was conducted at Sports Stadium Mananwala Kalan. Miran Kot bagged the first position in the age group 41 to 55 age group of game volleyball. Game Athletics 400m and 3000m boys race Sanjeev Singh won first position and Anubhav Vermani second position.

The second phase of ‘ Meri Mati Mera Desh ‘ program till September 30
Amritsar 5th September 2023–
Nehru Yuva Kendra Amritsar , Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports , Government of India is organizing Meri Mati Mera Desh program in district Amritsar under Amrit Mahotsav of Independence.
In the second phase of this program, Amrit Kalash travel programs will be drawn up to 30 September 2023. To implement this program, a meeting was held with all the national youth volunteers in the office of Nehru Yuva Kendra Amritsar. Youth Officer , Akanksha Mahawaria said that this program is being organized in different blocks of Amritsar district with the support of youth clubs , youth volunteers and gram panchayats. In the first phase of the programme, trees were planted in all Gram Panchayats. This is the second phase of the program , in which rice and soil will be collected from all the villages by going door to door. After this, these programs will be conducted at block level, state level and national level . A detailed discussion was held with the group members present in the meeting and targets were set for the successful conduct of this program.

The second phase of ‘ Meri Mati Mera Desh ‘ program till 30 September

Meri Mati Mera Desh program is being organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra Amritsar, Ministry of Youth Programs and Sports, Government of India under Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi in District Amritsar.
In the second phase of this program, Amrit Kalash Yatra programs will be organized from 1st September 2023 to 30th September 2023, a meeting was organized at the Nehru Yuva Kendra Amritsar office with all Rashtriya Yuva Swayamsevak during the meeting. Youth officer, Akanksha Mahawariya said that this program is being organized with the help of youth groups, youth volunteers and gram panchayats in different blocks of Amritsar district . Bowed to This is the second phase of the program, in this phase, programs will be organized at Gram Panchayat level from 1st September 2023 to 30th September 2023, in which rice and soil will be collected from all the villages through house-to-house travel in Amrit Kalash. After that, these programs will be organized at block level, state level and national level
A detailed discussion was held with all the members present in the meeting and the goals were determined for the successful organization of this program.
Placement camp organized at Govt ITI Ranjit Avenue

ITC Ltd. , Kapurthala , Punjab today organized a placement camp specially for girl students at Government ITI Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar . 32 students attended this camp and 19 students were selected after written test and interview.
Principal Eng.Sanjeev Sharma thanked all his staff and Manager HR Pankaj Sharma of ITC Kapurthala and said that all these students got jobs thanks to the hard working staff of the institutes. On this occasion, placement coordinators of the organization Sukhjinder Singh , Satnam Singh , Narendrapal Singh , Mandeep Singh etc. were present.
