Coronavirus has halted everything in the world. From economy to our lives, everything has slowed down. People have been inside home since March due to several lockdown phases. People are working from home since months. All the stress due to coronavirus and the crisis followed by it is impacting our health. Everybody is stressed and depressed. Several cases of suicide has come up since the beginning of the pandemic as people are unable to cope.

WHAT IS CRISIS FATIGUE?

When we face a stressful situation, our body releases cortisol, the stress hormone. Along with it, it also releases adrenaline to prepare our body face the circumstance. However, if we are stressed for long periods of time, our body experiences crisis fatigue. The increased amount of cortisol in your body can make you feel overwhelmed. Thus, you give in to your circumstance and stop being productive at all.
