6 signs of poor mental health that you must not ignore!

Your relationships, emotions, and productivity can all be adversely impacted by poor mental health. It can increase one’s risk of mental health issues if left untreated. In contrast to other illnesses, mental health problems do not often have obvious symptoms. However, disturbed sleep, depressed mood, and agitated behavior are some of the early indicators of poor mental health. A significant illness or chronic health problem may even result from poor mental health, which can have a detrimental effect on physical health. Our mental health is a part of our overall health and needs to be taken care of.

These are six indicators of poor mental health that one should never overlook:

1. Persistent mood swings: Depression and other mood disorders may be indicated by persistently feeling down, hopeless, or by sharp mood fluctuations that interfere with day-to-day functioning.

2. Social withdrawal: Emotional distress or social anxiety may be indicated if you begin to isolate yourself and shun friends and relatives.

3. Unusual sleeping habits: Mental health problems have been related to insomnia, excessive sleeping, or disturbed sleep.

4. hunger and weight fluctuations: Notable shifts in hunger, whether excessive or insufficient, may serve as a sign of psychological discomfort.

5. Difficulty focusing: Being unable to concentrate, make decisions, or finish work could indicate the presence of underlying mental health conditions such attention difficulties or anxiety.

6. Constant aches: Sometimes physical symptoms that seem inexplicable, such as headaches, stomachaches, or unexplained aches and pains, are indicators of mental discomfort.
