Kidney failure: Causes and Symptoms

CHANDIGARH

If we talk about the reasons behind chronic kidney disease (CKD), then diabetes and high blood pressure are the most common causes of it. There are more reasons behind the kidney failure which get detected through some clinical tests.

Even the family history can also impact your health care. Your cause of disease decides the course of treatment.

The causes for kidney failure are:

  • Diabetes: An excess amount of sugar in your blood harms kidney filters. With time kidneys get more damaged that they are unable to play their role of filtering wastes and extra fluid from the body. Medical experts explained the reason and said, “Often, the first sign of kidney disease from diabetes is a protein in your urine. When the filters are damaged, a protein called albumin, which you need to stay healthy, passes out of your blood and into your urine. A healthy kidney executes albumin pass from the blood into the urine timely”.
  • Blood Pressure: When the blood vessels in your kidneys get damaged then kidneys are not incapable of doing their work to remove wastes and extra fluid from the body. And due to this, the fluid gets stored in the body which raises the blood pressure, even more, creating a dangerous cycle.
  • Heart disease: Anyone having a disease related to the heart or having suffered any heart stroke or a heart attack can also get trapped in the kidney ailment.
  • Genetic disorder: Your genes play a major role in giving you the diseases and if any of your members are facing kidney ailment then you may get infected by it later or soon.
  • Age factor: people above 60 years commonly get kidney problems due to their age factor and the unhealthy diet.

However, if your kidneys will be affected, you will see one or the other symptoms of the kidney failure. Here are some common and uncommon symptoms of kidney failure:
