Ladakh,June 12 2021 Administrative Secretary, Tourism and Culture, UT Ladakh, Mehboob Ali Khan, who is also the Secretary of Labour and Employment, UT Ladakh, visited Changthang region on a three-day official tour starting Friday. Assistant Director, Tourism, Leh, Jigmet Namgyal and Assistant Commissioner Labour, Leh, Ghulam Nabi Tak, accompanied him for the tour.
Administrative Secretary, Mehboob Ali Khan, held a meeting with SDM Nyoma, councillors from Nyoma and Korzok, officials from the Border Road Organisation (BRO) and village representatives, including sarpanch and panches, on the first day. The meeting discussed various issues related to the labour and tourism industry in the region. The officials discussed the idea to promote trekking routes and homestays in the meeting.
